A systematic review of all or some of those questions forms the basis of a realistic action plan to make a change. I believe you need to identify the crucial questions first, then answer each question in turn. To get clear on what needs to be done and how to go about it may take time and considerable effort, but can be done and always pays in the end.

My approach to career counselling is relational, practical, and attuned to each client’s unique story. I blend thoughtful, strengths-based exploration with gentle guidance that helps people clarify what energizes them, what environments help them thrive, and what patterns may be holding them back. Clients benefit from a supportive space where they can be honest about their uncertainties, experiment with new possibilities, and craft clear, actionable steps. Together, we build a path forward that aligns with your values, personality, and evolving sense of identity—so work feels not only sustainable, but meaningful.

Career counselling has never been more important because our life journeys have never been more complex. Individuals change careers now more than ever; there’s an incredible amount of options in a rapidly changing landscape. And yet, there can also be stifling logistical constraints, a lack of opportunities, and precarious markets. I want to help you find a place where you feel accomplished, confident, valuable, and satisfied—but I know that is easier said than done. I can help you experiment, cope, succeed, and find a path that feels right. I work particularly well with students, young professionals, and graduate students.

Finding a satisfying career path takes balancing your strengths and passions with the realities of today's economy. I start by working with you on fleshing out your dreams. This is followed by exploration of how these aspirations can best be achieved given all of the other factors you are juggling. When barriers present themselves, I help skillfully navigate your journey forward, building your confidence at every step.

It is one thing to embark on a new career path, and a whole other to find the sweet spot of purpose, contribution, vitality and practical stability that leads to a really fulfilling vocation. The latter requires the courage to allow, shape and stay with a vision and the skills to navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys in confidence that are natural to the process. It is necessary to develop the ability to structure your own time toward your goal, maintaining the stability necessary to take new opportunities and creative risks.
