I have a belief that, at one point or another, every person needs to be surrounded by someone who can listen and provide a fresh perspective. With this in mind I am committed to creating a safe environment for everyone I work with.

Thanks for taking a minute to review my bio. We all go through challenges in life but sometimes they just become too much and professional help is required. My goal is to provide you with a safe, non judgemental environment to help you sort through these challenges.

I love getting to know new people and listening to their stories whatever they may be feeling. In this space is the opportunity to connect. I work hard to know my clients and offer skills that truly help to find relief and change no matter how stuck things may seem.

Sometimes life is difficult. We are unable to overcome the issues that are plaguing our life. While some may be able to address similar issues, they don't have the same past experiences that are holding them in a negative place.

I believe that everyone is worthy and deserving of inner happiness and loving relationships. I feel privileged to have facilitated many individuals, couples and families in overcoming negativity thoughts and behaviors, in a safe, compassionate and accepting atmosphere.

We all need support and guidance to make sense of ourselves and to find our way through the more painful parts of human experience. It is always an honor for me to work alongside a client and see the difference that counselling makes.

The healing journey can feel alone and overwhelming at times and the fast pace of life can bring on varying challenges and stressors. Debbie can help by providing a safe space to help address these challenges and stressors that prevent inner peace and calm.

My approach to counselling is to respect and value the uniqueness of every individual and where they are. I work to support them using creativity, with warmth, understanding and at times, a touch of humour when appropriate.
