In Grief & Loss therapy, I provide a compassionate, supportive space for clients to process their emotions at their own pace. I understand that everyone’s journey through grief is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s needs. Using a combination of therapeutic techniques, including Narrative Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help clients express their feelings, navigate the stages of grief, and find healing through meaningful reflection. Together, we work toward acceptance, emotional balance, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.

Grief is a complex experience that may be accompanied by a diversity of difficult emotions that are challenging to work around. However, you are not alone. I walk with my clients in their journey of grieving, through their difficult time as they try to understand their loss and their feelings. I offer them a safe space and time to understand their feelings for their losses. There are many other kinds of losses in our lives. We may lose our loved ones, our health, our physical mobility, our relationships with others, our dreams or our jobs. These are losses which we may not realize that we need to grieve. We may feel that something is not quite right.

Grief and loss are universal experiences for all people and they are perhaps some of the most painful events experienced. So painful, in fact, that many people try to avoid the feelings at all costs. I believe that the only way to learn to live with grief is to be willing to experience the feelings and I provide a safe and supported relationship in which to work through these feelings.

At Hera Therapy, we approach grief and loss from a cognitive-behavioural therapy perspective.
