I have had extensive training and experience in working with both anger management and domestic violence issues. I have a fundamental understanding of using cognitive behavior therapy, rational emotive therapy and Duluth model fundamentals for working with power and control issues or anger management. I have also had extensive experience in running groups, assessing anger related issues and working through the underlying issues which lead to problematic anger. EMDR has also been found to be effectively useful for working with unresolved emotional issues leading to anger problems.

Keystone provides counseling in anger management and emotional regulation. Clients will explore the source of their anger or their child's anger and develop skills to express it in a healthy manner. Parents will learn how to manage their child's anger in a productive way and learn strategies to facilitate healthy emotional development in their children. Anger management for adults focuses on expressing their anger in a healthy manner, rather than just learning to control their anger. As with all counseling at Keystone Child and Family Therapy, an emphasis is placed on developing close, enjoyable, and connected family relationships.
