Having worked in the finance industry for many years, I help clients remove their blocks, create clarity and help with work towards their career(dream job). My treatment involves having the client work on: financial plan that includes their goals. We go through obstacles and mental blocks; and their fears of success. Clients feel motivated, they learn how to build resources, change their negative beliefs to positive, and learn new skills to communicate effective.

For some, a career is a large part of one's identity. For others, it is simply a means to an end or a small part of a bigger picture. I approach career counselling by helping you discover and explore what a career and any related decisions mean for you. By doing this, I hope to help you uncover insight and clarity towards career choices and transitions.

Career decisions can be difficult. Career counselling will help you identify your interests, skills, personality and values which will help you decide on a career that suits who want to be in the world. Individual sessions will explore your strengths and desire to make a difference. I will help you set goals, explore options and help direct a path to a positive and hopeful work future.

Maybe as a child you dreamed about having a great life of abundance and achieve greatness. At that age, you were a winner and you would stand up and defend your dreams against any challenges. Unfortunately, lots of people may lose some of that winning spirit growing up and the champion in you may have slowly dimed. Maybe you do set goals and you do have an idea of what your purpose and direction in life is. This simply is not enough for you to experience the abundance in life that you deserve. You have all the potential to radically make a difference! It is already deep inside of you and waiting to be used. Together, we will work toward using that amazing potential.

In career counselling I prioritize the client's unique experiences, values, and goals. I create a supportive environment where they can explore their interests and aspirations without judgment. By fostering self-awareness and self-acceptance, I empower clients to make authentic career choices that align with their true selves. The focus is on their personal growth and fulfillment, helping them create a meaningful and satisfying career path.

In Career counseling , I assist the clients by addressing the emotional, psychological, and interpersonal factors that impact career choices and satisfaction. I have a holistic approach, considering both the psychological and practical aspects of career development, which can lead to more fulfilling and meaningful career choices for their clients. I help client with Self-Discovery and Clarification of Values, addressing emotional barriers such as anxiety , fear of failure, self doubt ; Coping with career transition , Developing communication and interpersonal skills , Managing stress and burn outs , supporting long term career development .

We know that choosing a career can be a daunting task, and the process of exploring and planning your future career can take some time. In order to assist students through this process, I offer a variety of careers focused on personality, talent, degree and dedication. I did a lot of information research on this and I matched successfully. Many of my previous clients were happy for my advice. I serve my clients to get a good solution. I also discuss my clients' career questions to experts in the field. I offer resources to assist to get a better future.

Career counselling has progressed away from computer generated test scores and more along the lines of inquiry to individual likes and tendencies. This is the approach I adopt. Together we complete a Career Development Workbook, uncovering inclinations and passions using talking and connection to self and others as our tools. Once up to 3 career choices have been made, a referral to Workplace BC is often helpful for the next steps in market and career research for your choices.

Career counselling with me involves an exploration of your strengths, and experiences. Together we will make sense of your journey and find the words to begin your plans for next steps. In therapy as you experience a non-judgmental, secure relationship you can orient yourself and experience a sense of confidence and assurance to move forward. Through locating where you are in the process of change and untangle the elements that are keeping you from moving towards a life of purpose and passion.

Career counselling may involve exploring career direction and it may also involve dealing with issues that occur in one's working life, such as those in the workplace. When exploring a career path, the client's whole self needs to be taken into consideration, including one's history and dreams (waking and sleeping.) Of particular importance is one's "inner voice" which may be calling one in a particular direction. Work situations often open up old wounds and therefore often provide an opportunity for healing and transformation.

I thoroughly enjoy working with young adult clients on assisting them in beginning their career journey. I also work with adult clients who are in the beginning stages of making career changes including going back to school. I know how scary "change" can be especially when it has financial implications. Career Counselling with me begins with developing rapport and relationships. We move at a pace you are comfortable with and examine the variables involved in decision-making. I support clients throughout the change process.
