I work with couples who seem to be locked in emotional cycles that are difficult to understand and to break out of. You can improve your communication and become emotionally focused and intimate with your partner by learning to speak openly and listen non-defensively.

It is so important to find a therapist who has specialized training. I have trained in a range of approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I provide individual therapy for people who would like to address issues that may be impacting their relationships with family members or partners.

I work to help you develop a healthy relationship, enabling both people to speak from the heart about what they feel and need. When you find yourself in a repeating cycle of hurtful interactions, I facilitate new ways to connect and heal.

I offer three models of marriage counseling: Traditional, Solo and Guided. Traditional, both partners come to therapy, Solo, only one partner comes to therapy and Guided, Janice guides couples through her book, Framework Marriage Counseling.
