From this acceptance comes possibilities for opening up to new understandings. Additionally, the ability to call upon the belief of something or someone greater than ourselves can offer us immeasurable strength to proactively take care of life's numerous challenges, eventually allowing us to relinquish the outcome to this higher power.

I hold a Masters of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University. I also spent over 20 years involved in various Christian Leadership roles. I do not practice or hold to this religion any longer. In my clinical work, I work with clients who are processing spiritual abuse/trauma and I regularly work with clients who are navigating deconstruction. I believe it is important to clarify, I am affirming and fully accepting of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I consider myself an ally to this community. In my clinical work, I consider it an honour to work with members of this community who have been wounded by the Christian Church.
