Christian counselling focused on care for body, soul and spirit, and aims to help you regain a sense of hope for your life that is rooted in in Jesus. Christian counsellors help others to achieve a better understanding of self and God and to learn the value and worth they have as a person. Such counselling tries to use psychological tools in service of Christianity, keeping God and truth at the centre of treatment.

To me, the greatest part of being a Christian is being Christ-like, meaning, looking at each and every individual as a worthwhile human being, created for a purpose. When people stop believing in themselves, I like to help them get back on track and feel good about themselves. I’ve successfully worked with disadvantaged kids, the elderly, troubled teens, ashamed individuals, and couples feeling hopeless. I see my clients through the Lord’s eyes, as precious and valuable, and I do my best to help them look at themselves that way. I strongly believe in divine forgiveness and lack of judgment, which allows people in the darkest places to forgive themselves and have hope for a better future.

We were created for relationship with God. In turn, our relationship with God affects our relationships with other people and our personal well being. It is through a biblical foundation that I counsel with warmth and professionalism. Often, clients are comforted in knowing that their therapist comes to the healing process with a Christian worldview, and that their therapy is based on biblical principles.

Our faith is an integral part of who we are and it can influence all aspects of our life. Situations and circumstances can occur that can shake our hope and question our faith. As a Christian psychotherapist, I work with both people of faith and people with no religious orientation. It is my goal to respect and honor each person and the journey they are on.

It was this experience that led me to become a psychotherapist, and I have been blessed over the years to walk alongside others as they learn to live happier, more fulfilled lives.

My approach to Christian counselling draws on cognitive science and the understanding of Jesus as a guide into metanoia — a transformation of mind and being. This is not about doctrine but about moving beyond propositional belief into participatory knowing — a lived alignment with love, presence, and meaning. I help clients heal from spiritual injury, alienation, or disconnection from the Sacred, restoring right relationship with self, others, and the divine through a process grounded in agape and transformation.
