I believe we are all unique, and not one specific skill set or therapy will restore a healthy state of being to everyone. Therefore, my style and approach to counselling is an eclectic one.

As an individual, couple and family therapist I provide a safe place for clients to work through issues, grow and heal. I take a collaborative approach with my clients, adjusting the therapy style to match who my clients are and what they need.

My biggest passion is empowering teenagers to find the resources needed to get through an age of puberty changes, peer pressure, changing schools and making new friends, as well as transition to adulthood

It takes a lot of courage to reach out for support and it does take an empathetic, compassionate, experienced and a non-judgmental therapist to appreciate those challenges to enable you navigate those systems, stressors and life’s transitions in general.

From the time I was a teenager, I loved to help people. It is my second wind.People have described me as genuine, a natural coach and supportive.

As a Registered Psychotherapist, I offer client-centred therapy to individuals, couples and families. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I ensure a safe environment for clients to explore their emotions and work toward their desired change.

The first thing I want to do is get to know who you are. Too many therapists approach this through the lens of a theory and they only see what the theory suggests is important. I want to see you on your own terms.

Through my struggling I have come to understand that my purpose is to help others find purpose in their pain. I have extensive personal experiences & professional training in gestalt, Gottman couples, somatic experiencing (SE),addictions that allows me to support you.

I am here to help you take steps to better manage the challenges that are holding you back from living a healthy and productive emotional life and work with you to discover a path towards self-awareness, restoration and growth in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

Heidi uses creative approaches in her work with women, children and families. She uses art and play therapy to help children express and process their emotions. Heidi also works with women needing a warm and supportive place to process a variety of life issues.
