With over 30 years of experience—and a life shaped by nonlinear exploration, motherhood, music, and complexity—I humbly believe that I offer my clients psychotherapy that’s both skilled and deeply human. I do my best to meet you where you are, not where someone or society says you “should” be. I profoundly believe these words of wisdom from Jon Kabat-Zinn: "As long as you are breathing, there is more right with you than wrong with you, no matter what is wrong." My approach involves drawing on various modalities (e.g., dialogic, narrative, solution-focused, emotion-focused) that fit the unique needs of clients. I hope to create an environment for clients where they feel a sense of safety to express their reflections, thoughts, and concerns. I take on a non-judgmental, non-expert stance and firmly believe that clients have everything that they need already within them- my role is to simply remind you of who you are or to help you discover who you would like to be through supportive, therapeutic conversations. A depth approach that is "model free". I try to meet and understand my clients directly rather than seeing them through the lens of a psychotherapy model. This reflects my early training in chaplaincy where meeting the person was the primary focus and where learning to get yourself out of the way as fully as possible was the methodology
