Regina enjoys an abundance of outdoor recreation throughout the year.  Numerous parks and green spaces provide biking paths, cross-country skiing venues, boating and skating and toboggan runs on Wascana  Lake.  The city has five municipal golf courses, ball diamonds, picnic grounds and stock car racing on a 1/3 mil paved oval.. A half hour drive from the city provides camping country with winter ski resorts and fishing lakes. In 2004 the Wascana Lake project drained and dredged the facility to deepen it and add a new island, a promenade, water fountains and a waterfall to aerate the lake.  The Western Canada Summer Games were hosted by Regina in 1975, 1987 and 2005. Regina counselling from a therapist at Theravive will work to restore and help you overcome life issues through a values-based approach.

A fire in 1949 destroyed street cars and trolley buses thus propelling Regina into the diesel bus revolution. The Canadian Pacific Railway discontinued passenger services and the downtown station has been converted to a casino.  The most common religion here is Christian. Counselling in Regina, Saskatchewan, is a collaborative process between client and therapist that works towards positive change and growth. The Trans Canada Highway connects Regina eastward and westward with numerous provincial highways from other directions connecting to the neighboring US States of North Dakota and Montana.  The Regina International Airport is the oldest established commercial airport in Canada. The terminal has recently been upgraded to handle increased traffic although the city has a moderate population increase at the present time.
