It is my privilege to work with clients who are seeking understanding, growth, and healing. My Approach:
I work from an integrative framework that includes IFS, ACT, and MBCT, evidence-based methods of therapy that have been proven to be effective in treating a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is also effective in helping people to develop stronger self-esteem, work through issues in their relationships with others, and navigate life with chronic pain or illness. With specialized training in IFS and ACT, I tailor my approach to your individual needs so that you can get the most out of our sessions together.

For clients who are experiencing grief, due to a loss or life transition, I am a certified grief counseling specialist and a certified grief recovery method specialist. Using my specialized training in grief and loss, I support clients through the grief process and help them navigate life after loss.

Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I will meet you where you are from a place of compassion and respect. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and your life, and I will honor that expertise as I work to support you in achieving your goals for therapy.

Education:
I have a masters in counseling from Palo Alto University, a CACREP accredited program. Additionally I have specialized post-masters training in ACT and IFS, and hold certifications as grief counseling specialist and a grief recovery method specialist.

Cost:
The fee for a 50 minute session is $150. I am passionate about every person's right to access mental health care, and offer sliding scale fees. If you would benefit from a lower fee, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am happy to work with you to find an agreeable fee.
I do not accept insurance but will provide you with a superbill you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Location:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic I am only offering sessions via telehealth. I use Simple Practice, a secure and HIPAA compliant platform.
