We pray and seek his guidance, to overcome the stress that is overwhelming you, it may be anxiety, depression, disconnect of a relationship with a loved one, lack of self-care and/or other new stress that you need counselling support. I am a Bible-believing Evangelical Christian of 40 years. Yet, I welcome people of all faiths or no faith because I am neither a priest or minister, but a counsellor here to serve you. As a pastor and an evangelist, I have firm faith in God that I offer therapy with God’s loving kindness. As a pastoral therapist who aspires to strong principals, ethics, and Christian faith, I believe that Jesus is a key for all. I have a strong conviction that the goal of therapy should include both psychological and spiritual wholeness. I am a practising Catholic. I use a common sense approach and I respect all religions. There is no right or wrong religion. My faith has helped me many times during my lengthy career. For 14 years I was a consultant with the BC Coroner's Office and I did psychological autopsies of teens that either committed suicide or were suspected of committing suicide. Many times my faith gave me the strength to support those grieving parents in the most terrible time of their lives.

Christians are not immune to suffering, to mental illness, to anguish in their relationships. The faith journey and the human journey are far from easy. It can be difficult, as a Christian, to make sense of this suffering, and it often raises questions about one's faith and worldview. Christianity has something very important to say about who we are as human beings, what is the human condition, how does change happen? Christian counselling uses the tools and insights of psychology, while ultimately being aware of, and true to, a wider faith perspective. I completed my M.A. at TWU, where I focused on integrating Christianity and psychology.
