I take a positive based approach in my counselling. I believe that lasting change happens when you draw out the truths within yourself and your relationships. I do not treat people as problems, as people are people and problems are problems. I do not like lables; I believe people are a lot more than what they may be currently struggling with. I seek to understand the full context of a person, rather than just focusing on a specific issue.

If you are struggling with feelings of worry, anxiety, sadness, or anger; if you question your sense of worth and compare yourself to others; if you have nightmares and difficulty falling asleep; or if you have had negative life events that happened to you and you are open to talking to someone, coming to therapy may help you cope with the challenges listed above. You’re not alone in how you’re feeling, and many people struggle to cope for a number of different reasons. What’s important to know is that there is hope. There is no magic therapy cure, it takes time to feel better, but it is worth the effort to invest in yourself and in your wellbeing.

Psychotherapy addresses some of the same challenges as counselling does, but aims its focus more deeply on the psychological roots of problems and unhealthy behavior patterns. Some of our belief- and behavior patterns develop in childhood, others evolve through subsequent life experiences. In our sessions, I will gently help you understand your emotions, thoughts and action and where they might originate. We will explore possible sources of your stress, and I will guide and support you to become aware, that you can heal your past and explore ways to effectively cope in the present. 905-842-3626

James Hillman once said, "We've had a hundred years of psychotherapy and the world is getting worse." While there are many occasions where the validation and listening endemic to psychotherapy makes sense, there are times where we over assume that "feeling better" and "changing behavior" are the same. Grey Matters International, Inc. goes after the forgotten brain laws to behavior change that therapists miss when processing hours and hours of dialogues with people. Utilizing a cutting edge technology to facilitate the emotional process of change, we can make the therapy process way more effective, faster, and with less money spent. 205 Matheson Boulevard East Unit 15, Mississauga, Ontario L4Z 3E3 | 289-231-8479

Psychotherapy is a place where you can feel comfortable to "be yourself". It is okay to ask yourself where your life is today, and where you'd like to be in the future. Psychotherapy can help us with an obstacles or event that is happening in our lives that causes us grief, pain, and feels uncomfortable. In these situations, it is reassuring to have another person to go over these events with us. We analyze and work through these events, as well as develop coping strategies to help us in our daily lives.
