Individual Couple Family Counsellor, Sex Addiction Counsellor

The key is to find the right therapist and psychotherapy ... "what works" for you. Research confirms that a positive alliance between the client and the counsellor is one of the best predictors of outcomes in therapy. I am trained and experienced with numerous models of change. Clients report, however, that they feel the most heard and understood when I help them open up their emotions. John Gottman states that Susan Johnson is "the best couple therapist in the world." I have been trained by Susan Johnson and I highly recommend her book to you, Hold Me Tight, and also my Couples' 12 Emotional Needs Survey.

Helen Vozinidis, MSW, RSW

Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist

106 Lakeshore Road East, Suite 206, Mississauga, Ontario

If you are struggling with feelings of worry, anxiety, sadness, or anger; if you question your sense of worth and compare yourself to others; if you have nightmares and difficulty falling asleep; or if you have had negative life events that happened to you and you are open to talking to someone, coming to therapy may help you cope with the challenges listed above. You’re not alone in how you’re feeling, and many people struggle to cope for a number of different reasons. What’s important to know is that there is hope. There is no magic therapy cure, it takes time to feel better, but it is worth the effort to invest in yourself and in your wellbeing.

Psychotherapy can help work through such problems to develop healthier, more effective habits. My approach includes cognitive-behavioural, and insight oriented therapies. I provide a supportive environment that allows to talk openly with someone who is objective, neutral and non-judgmental. We will work together to identify and change the thought and behaviour patterns that are keeping you from feeling your best. Psychotherapy and/or counselling is seen as forming a relationship between a client(s) and therapist, to enhance and promote well-being and mental health of individuals, couples, or families. Counselling can be helpful for you if you are experiencing distress and difficulties associated with life events and transitions, decision-making, work or education, family and social relationships, and/or pre-existing mental health concerns. The client is the most important factor in this process of change and growth, while we work on current skills and strengths and implement new ones as well. Psychotherapy can be helpful to receive a diagnosis, assessment, and better understanding of your well being.

Rebecca Rosenblat-Billings

B.Sc. (Hons) Psych, RP, CSAT, Cert LC

4300 Village Centre Court Unit 50 , Missisauga , CANADA

I provide a safe & non-judgmental environment for clients to open up on all issues, even deeply buried ones (from early childhood to present), so I can get a sense of the whole picture, ask the right questions, and come up with an effective treatment plan. I’ve successfully worked with many individuals & couples who others had given up on, since they weren’t able to go deep enough. This has allowed me to especially help people who are struggling with emotional or sexual trauma, incest, abuse, porn or sex addiction, sexual dysfunction, intimacy issues & taboos & fears which trap them in shame. I’ve also helped couples heal from deep wounds such as infidelity and build stronger relationships.
