The municipality of Etobicoke is one that has changed a lot over the years. It has a long history and is one of the oldest communities in Ontario. There are constant changes and advances being made to the area. With a population of over 113,000 people living here, however, there are bound to be some problems.2 One of these problems is mental illness and higher divorce rates.
The area Etobicoke, though it has better divorce rates than most of Ontario, has seen a recent increase in the number of couples facing divorce.3 This may be due to mental illness and financial struggles among families.
