Counselling is a safe and supportive space where you can be who you are and explore what matters most to you. There are many ways to approach counselling. For some, counselling is a space to explore goals, learn new skills, and rediscover ways to engage with life in a more authentic and meaningful way. For others, counselling is a container to explore deeply held beliefs, express emotions, and process painful experiences to allow them to move forward. Regardless of what brings you to counselling, I can support you in taking steps towards your goals.
In counselling, you may learn new ways to cope, explore relationships with yourself and others, restore feelings of hope, and/or re-connect with a sense of meaning in your life. My hope is that counselling is a safe and supportive space where you can heal parts of your experience, learn new skills, and grow.

In counselling, I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive space for you to explore what matters most to you. I can facilitate counselling using a variety of emotional, somatic, cognitive, and behavioural approaches. In particular, I draw from narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, sensorimotor psychotherapy (body-centered therapy), and feminist therapy. There are many ways to approach counselling and I can work with you to explore what might be a fit for you.

I am a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and I have a Master's degree in counselling psychology. I am also a professional member with the Canadian Psychological Association.
