Do you feel a lack of control in your life? Are challenges overwhelming you so severely that you have developed unhelpful coping mechanisms to avoid your own thoughts and emotions? Finding ways to unlearn these habits can be both scary and difficult.

Krystle is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) who completed her Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). Her work focuses on guiding clients through a healing journey that will allow them to build self awareness, compassion and a more effective path to happiness. Clients are invited to move away from being stuck in the past and work towards building their desired future.

What issues can Krystle help work through?

*major transition in academics, work or relationships, anxiety, depression or any mental health concerns that are impacting relationships, work and overall functioning
*converting negative self-talk into more compassion and encouraging words
*anger and stress management, trauma and grief, couples and family conflict.

Krystle’s work involves:

*incorporating mindful and compassionate practices to help clients become grounded and amplify awareness
*a strength-based, solution-oriented and client-centered approach
*customized therapeutic approaches that are developed based on the unique needs of each client
*encouraging clients to become experts in identifying challenges in their lives, formulating goals and developing effective solutions.

Krystle's specializations include:
*women's health including post-pardum depression and parenting
*PTSD and grief counselling
*family and couples counselling focusing on communication styles and system approaches
*self-compassion approaches and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)

Most importantly, building a safe, culturally-sensitive and compassionate environment that encourages growth and learning is the foundation of Krystle's work. She is eager to take this time to heal with you.
