Nikki is a compassionate and skilled clinician with a wealth of experience supporting individuals navigating various mental health challenges. As a registered clinical counsellor with the BCACC, Nikki is dedicated to providing evidence-based, holistic care to her clients.

With a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental approach, Nikki creates a safe space where you can freely explore your inner experiences, work toward personal goals, and enhance your well-being. She can provide guidance in times of distress, help you identify patterns that might be holding you back, develop effective coping strategies, and empower you to make meaningful changes.

Nikki holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Victoria and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (with distinction) from Yorkville University. She has over seven years of experience supporting youth and adults in mental health settings, and more than two years experience as a clinical counsellor. Nikki also holds additional training in harm reduction, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care.

In therapy, Nikki draws from an integrative, evidence-based approach, incorporating theory and techniques from client-centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), acceptance and commitment (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma informed approaches. This adaptability allows her to tailor sessions to your unique needs and goals.

Nikki strives to understand each person within the context of their life experiences. She emphasizes the interconnectedness of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the body, while exploring how past experiences shape the present. Her goal is to help clients live in alignment with their values while learning skills to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication.

Nikki works with youth and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood swings, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal challenges, and self-esteem concerns. She also supports clients who are struggling with stress/burnout, life transitions, grief, loss, and chronic illness and pain.
