Stacy Taylor is a Registered Psychologist with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE), enabling her to diagnose mental health disorders. Stacy has a private practice at Stapleford Medical Clinic. She provides services to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Her areas of practice include anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief/loss, postpartum depression, chronic pain, health anxiety, and workplace issues. She also offers cognitive, psycho-educational, behavior and diagnostic assessments.

During the initial session, Stacy begins with a consultation and assessment which usually takes 1-2 sessions depending on the situation. During those sessions, she works with her clients to identify the concerns that brought them to therapy, as well as manageable goals and plans for reaching them. The evidence based methods she utilizes with clients include Brief, Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (i.e., EMDR).  What she hopes and is passionate to offer her clients is support, understanding and tools to facilitate healing and well-being.
