My work centers on marriages in crisis, the effects of affairs, the damage of pornography addictions, the hopelessness of mood disorders (depression, anxiety etc,), the frustration of inappropriate anger and the paralysis caused by low self-acceptance.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist accepting NEW CLIENTS in-person or through video or phone sessions. I have a passion for working with trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. I have a special interest in working with clients in the LGBTQI+ community and Refugees.

I am a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I’m also a certified Life Coach and have over 15 years experience working with various client groups with an emphasis on women and adolescents.

Our families, our life experiences, and the world we live in all have an impact on our emotional lives. As a psychotherapist with twenty years of experience I have worked in the areas of trauma and general counselling (including relationship issues, grief, etc)

I understand consulting a psychotherapist requires a lot of courage. All of us are a story on two legs and that story has some challenging chapters

Ultimately, I look beyond the usual checklist of problematic behaviours focusing on the whole story and what exactly is happening in an individual's life and how they are integrated into their personal environments.

For more than 30 years these have been my goals in helping people through the pain, trauma, and challenges that life inevitably brings. I believe it is how we respond to these universal experiences that shapes who we are and the direction of our lives.
