My goal is to provide my clients with strategies that they can use to conceptualize and negotiate their grief, thereby promoting healing. Failure to accept that what has happened has truly happened can block integration of loss. When this happens the result is prolonged, complicated grief. This can be resolved with the use of mindfulness that promotes acceptance of loss.

Loss of a loved one, a significant change in a relationship, a move, and terminal illness, a disaster, and other life situations may cause feelings of grief. Quite often these feelings are overwhelming and may be debilitating. People may react to grief with shock, denial, anger, disbelief, sadness, distress, anxiety, and loss of sleep and appetite. Grieving is a natural human phenomenon and each person grieves differently. I empathetically listen to you and help you cope with grief when you are ready. I tailor therapy to suit your needs and we use tools that work for you to help process grief.
