About Cece: 
 
Cece holds a Bachelors in Psychology and a Master of Health Science from the University of Sydney.  She has over 7 years experience compassionately supporting individuals and couples through life stressors and challenges. 
Cece’s approach is one of openness and acceptance, no matter what you are struggling with or how taboo you feel your concerns, as your counsellor she strives to create a safe, nurturing and non-judgmental environment for couples and individuals to explore challenges, strengths and opportunities for growth and change.  She considers it a great honour to provide an environment in which to help client’s navigate their way through challenges in their life, meeting them wherever they are at.

Cece works with adults and couples of all ages and utilizes an integrative approach to counselling where strategies and methods depend on individual personalities and needs. She utilizes a combination of person-centred therapy, reality therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, behavioural therapy and gestalt therapy. 
  
Couples Therapy 
 
Cece specializes in couples therapy and uses a combination of the Gottman Method (The work of John and Julie Gottman author of "7 Principles for making a marriage work" and Emotionally Focused Therapy (The work of Sue Johnson author of "Hold Me Tight") in her work with couples. By using theses methods she aims to help couples build stronger relationships and develop healthier, more emotionally connected ways to communicate with each other in the future so as to learn to lift each other up instead of pull each other down.
