Ideally your job, career or occupation is a source of energy, meaning and perspective on life and money. It aids your journey through the shifting realities we now have on the planet. My experience over forty years of being a therapist is that the technical aspects of a career/job/position may be resolved by going through the typical mechanics of job searching. Through my Master’s degree I completed a double major in career and personal counseling. This unique training has helped me understand the impacts of personal well-being on career development and work performance and productivity. It also helped me understand how career development and/or employment satisfaction impacts on an individual’s well-being and on how they behave and interact with others. I have been a guidance counsellor to youth for around 15 years. I can help you to explore your options though values work, finding your strengths and the things that you could strengthen more, and keep you grounded as you do so.
