I support individuals on their journey toward building

Therapeutic Approach
I endeavor to create a compassionate space for clients that
is warm, supportive, and judgment free. I believe that fostering a strong
therapeutic alliance is conducive to exploring experiences, building
resilience, and creating positive change. During the therapeutic process, I
draw upon a variety of integrative and evidence-based modalities, including
humanistic/person centered, psychodynamic, existential, positive psychology,
cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT),
self-compassion, narrative, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based therapies.
Education & Experience
I have an M.A. in Counselling, Psychotherapy, and
Spirituality from Saint Paul University, Ottawa. I also have a B.A. Honours,
Psychology, from Carleton University, and an Ontario College Advanced Diploma,
Child and Youth Worker, from Algonquin College. I have previous experience at
Saint Paul University’s Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre in Ottawa. I am currently a member of the Ottawa Psychotherapy Center, a team of compassionate therapists who are dedicated to helping you heal, grow and thrive.
