"I'm just a human being trying to make it in a world that is rapidly losing its understanding of being human."

This is one of my favorite quotes, by the late, great John Trudell, an Aboriginal activist and mind un-mining poet.
 About Me
I am a Female Empowerment Igniter with a passion for supporting women to own their value, step into their power and lead revolutions! This begins with a revolution  of the inner self.

 My Therapy Philosophy
You are energy. Energy is power. You are power. Owning it = Liberation.
This includes validating, supporting and encouraging "sensitive" people to not change this quality about themselves. Instead, I encourage people to embrace this trait and protect themselves from IN-sensitive environments and people, who are the ones that need to increase their sensitivity. Because being sensitive is an incredible gift and strength of being human.
Our past and present relationships, the stories that we hear and tell ourselves, and the culture(s) we live in, profoundly shape us and the life paths we take.

I want to know YOUR story(ies) and together, make sense of things and the challenges you are facing today.

Through our collaborative relationship and analysis of your story(ies), we develop meaningful insights and perspectives that work FOR you, not against you.

As you gain more clarity, own your value and step into your power, we'll draw on tools, coping strategies, and opportunities to further support and sustain a more grounded, assertive and empowered You.
 Why Work With Me
What makes me unique and good at what I do is that therapist "it" factor which cannot be taught through training or learned in books.

I am referring to the WAY in which I care about, attune to, and support my clients in their struggles, as well as help them recognize their resilience, uniqueness and innate strengths and abilities to empower them forward.

Just as quality relationships make life good, studies prove over and over again that it is the quality of the client-therapist RELATIONSHIP - also known as the "therapeutic alliance" - that makes for good therapy.
I am the founder of #WeMightyWomen, to inform, support and empower women and elevate eachother to greatness. Current projects include a podcast in the works as well as imposter-squashing workshops and webinar.
I also specialize in the following areas, which I approach from a uniquely feminist and DEcolonist framework:
  • Relationships
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Culture clash & Decolonization
  • Psychiatric assault (e.g. ECT, coercion)
  • Prostitution/porn/trafficking survival
  • Grief
  • Addiction (via harm reduction approach)
  • Sexuality and/or gender issues
  • Workplace distress
  • Career change
  • Chronic pain and disability

  • Gestalt Institute of Toronto - Process Group Facilitation
  • Yorkville University - Master of Arts, Counselling Psychology (MACP)
  • University of Toronto: Honours, Bachelor of Arts
  • CRPO Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) (#6767)
  • Ongoing training via workshops, courses, seminars and other modalities

I work with clients in my downtown Toronto office at TS Medical Centre, located in the Bloor/Bathurst area. I also counsel clients over-the-phone or video.
I offer a  FREE 20-30 minute phone consultation  so that we can get a sense of one another and assess if/how I can support you.
It takes much courage - and some commitment - to embark on the personal growth journey of psychotherapy. Every journey begins with a single step.
I encourage and invite you to take the first step and contact me, either through here or my website. It will be my honour and privilege to walk alongside you and support you in your personal self-discovery and growth journey of psychotherapy.
I look forward to connecting with you!
