Janel Led, Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying, RP (Q)

About Janel:
Hello, my name is Janel Led, and I am passionate about helping clients work towards fulfillment through creating meaningful goals and offering a therapeutic environment to explore them. I have experience in working with various cultural backgrounds and ages. I also have experience working with various presenting concerns, such as: depression, anxiety, ADHD, relational issues, career changes/concerns, trauma, stress-management and self-esteem.
Together, we will create a safe and non-judgmental space, through emphasizing compassion, collaboration and check-ins/feedback. It is also important that my practice is evidence-based, yet still highlights each client’s unique experience and symptomologies.
I appreciate a holistic approach to treatment planning, in which I incorporate various approaches unique to the client’s concerns and presentation. Nonetheless, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic approaches with clients.
When peeling back the layers of self, we must do so with a lens of acceptance – only then can we start to move towards a place of healing, where we have strengthened relationship with ourselves, others and our intrinsic needs/goals in life.

Miranda Klimowski, Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying, RP(Q)

 About Miranda:
I welcome individuals and couples from all walks of life, who are open and ready to make a change. In the therapeutic space I draw from evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, EFT, and Narrative therapy to create an individualized therapy approach. I understand that there is no one size fits all when it comes to some of the dilemmas that we may be stuck with, and know the importance of tailoring therapy to your unique needs.
I have a diverse background in treating clients with a multitude of challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life stressors and specialize in substance use, childhood trauma, and relationship issues. My hope during our time together is to create a supportive and positive relationship, so you can feel safe to explore your own thoughts and feelings. I provide a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach while working together, so that you are able to build up your internal security while learning about your inner self.
I believe that having this cultivates trust within the therapeutic relationship which is essential to facilitate long-term meaningful change, and also is the core principle of my practice.
In our time together, you are in the driver seat and we will always go at the pace that you are comfortable with. I am open to feedback, and will check in with you regularly to ensure that we are on the same page and that you are progressing in the way that you hoped for. I look forward to providing you with an insightful and nurturing therapy experience while we get to the root of your problem. Please feel free to reach out to setup a complimentary consultation so we can discuss your therapeutic needs further. I look forward to hearing from you!
